Pipe Welders at Freedom Industries play a critical role in fabricating and installing piping systems that keep industrial and commercial operations running. This role requires precision, technical skill, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. As a Pipe Welder, you’ll bring expertise to projects that demand reliability, strength, and durability.
Perform welding operations on piping systems using TIG, MIG, Stick, and other approved processes.
Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and technical specifications.
Fabricate, fit, and assemble pipe components according to project requirements.
Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with industry codes and standards.
Collaborate with pipefitters and project teams to ensure accurate and efficient installations.
Maintain welding tools and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working order.
Work safely in various environments, including elevated positions and confined spaces.
Support project schedules by maintaining high productivity and quality output.
Minimum 3 years of experience in pipe welding, preferably in industrial or commercial environments.
Current welding certifications (ASME, AWS, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Ability to interpret drawings and perform precise welds with consistency.
Familiarity with a variety of pipe materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, and alloys.
Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and industry best practices.
