Mechanical & Electrical Helpers provide essential support to our skilled trades teams, assisting in the installation, repair, and maintenance of complex building systems. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to begin a career in the construction industry. Helpers gain hands-on experience while learning the fundamentals of the trade, contributing to projects that span commercial, industrial, and specialty environments.
Support electricians, plumbers, pipe welders, and mechanical teams during installations and maintenance activities.
Transport, stage, and organize materials, tools, and equipment for daily use.
Perform basic trade tasks including measuring, cutting, and assembling under supervision.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of work areas, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Clean and maintain workspaces, keeping them organized and hazard-free.
Follow instructions from foremen, journeymen, and supervisors while demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn.
Support project timelines by assisting with tasks that help maintain productivity on site.
Observe and apply company safety protocols to protect yourself and team members.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge.
Ability to take direction and work well as part of a team.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn trade skills.
Physical ability to lift, carry, and perform manual labor in varying site conditions.
