Position Summary

The Mechanical QA/QC Site Manager is responsible for managing a specific section of job site operations on the projects assigned to achieve timely and profitable completion. The Mechanical QA/QC Site Manager must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Confront difficult situations and manage to a successful conclusion, while also maintaining appropriate documentation as needed
  • Assist with providing technical assistance (interpretation of drawings, recommendation of construction methods and equipment, etc.) as required, including mechanical, plumbing and welding
  • Inspection of Contractor or Subcontract operations to ensure compliance with contract
  • Maintain good relationships with internal and external customers, including representatives of customers
  • Create and maintain a culture that values respect, safety, health and cleanliness
  • Communicate and enforce Safety Processes/Policies
  • Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring others
  • Maintain daily paperwork as required
  • Constantly (more than 67% of time)

Experience/Education/Other

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Trade License is a plus
  • Good understanding of work sequencing and strategy of creating effective schedules
  • Skilled in Mechanical trades on an industrial level
  • Experience managing people within projects
  • Strong ability to read, interpret and explain drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with Project Estimating Software preferred
